Press Release: CARSOME Academy Signs Certificate of Collaboration with Yayasan Raja Muda Selangor, Empowering Youths with TVET Programs

Sabak Bernam,  23 September  2024 – CARSOME Academy proudly announces its collaboration with Yayasan Raja Muda Selangor (YRMS) to uplift underserved youth across Malaysia through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). This partnership was marked by the receipt of a Certificate of Collaboration (CoC) that was presented during the YRMS TVET Open Day held at Politeknik Sultan Idris Shah, recently. The event, officiated by Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, recognizes CARSOME Academy as one of six key institutional partners working with YRMS.

As part of this new collaboration, scholarships will be offered to underprivileged students, enabling them to pursue their studies at CARSOME Academy. An accredited automotive TVET training institution, CARSOME Academy is committed to preparing youth for the automotive industry by offering comprehensive TVET programs that align with industry demands.

Since its founding in 2003, YRMS has been dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth by offering educational, vocational, and self-development programs. To date, YRMS has supported more than 5,726 students from across Malaysia, nurturing hidden talents and helping them build brighter futures. 

Through this collaboration, CARSOME Academy will enhance YRMS’ mission by providing focused pathways into the automotive sector, offering underprivileged youth the tools and education they need to achieve employment and personal growth.

  • Creating career opportunities and enhancing skills development for CARSOME Academy graduates.

  • Facilitating the sharing of expertise, equipment, and facilities.

  • Collaborating on training consultations and related certification programs.

  • Partnering in research, publications, innovation, and commercialization efforts.

  • Working together on youth and community programs, as well as other mutually agreed collaboration initiatives.
